About
Hugo Hectus (b. 1997, Montpellier) lives and works between Basel and Paris. His sculptural practice explores systems of obstruction, circulation and support through wax, industrial materials, found objects and text-based structures. Recent works examine how bodies, signs and social relations leave traces in space, developing through fictional environments composed of rooms, archetypes and infrastructural forms.
